Wanderer and the Traveller
The wanderer and the traveller
One day the sheep were grazing
the people were lazing
and sky was bright and blue
a wanderer wandered
a thought of sonder
and wandered on someone new.
“Hello!” says the traveller
“how do you do?”
“i have met many kings
seen many things
and want to see more with you.”
the wanderer wandered
a thought of sonder
and wildest dreams come true
who is this fellow
life far from mellow
maybe i could be like him too.

Old Stubborn Stray Dog
[were they scared of me? i'm not even 5'3 T_T]
Old Stubborn Stray Dog
Were they scared of me?
I know can be scraggly to engage
when they left, he devoured
“they can’t know i have needs like they”
…
round the corner is a loved familiar face
one he can’t stay away from
Simple and younger in more than age
He let them stay while he ate.
The old dog has lived a long time,
shown in the way his tears crusted around his eyes.
I stared upon him with knowledge of a thousand eras
and loved it a thousand more times.

The Bird Who Thought It Was A Frog Hears The Caged Bird Sing
two birds
The Bird that Thought it was a Frog Hears The Caged Bird Sing
There once was a bird in a house in a cage
it makes the cage his home
and regularly leaves to feel the freedom of walking on the floor
The first bird members the strain of hopping
Is that really what this bird wants?
Is it really so confined to something it’s not?
The first remembers the limits of not knowing it was free
“Does this caged thing look like me?”
The bird remembers the slimy feeling on its wings
“I have to help this bird sing.”
but the cage bird feels free
the cage is a tall prison, it thinks
after a while the cage bird leaves
after a while the “frog” bird stops to leap
but then…
-
In some moments it looks like a king of twigs and leaves
A kingdom of ants, walking commanding
“Snapping turtles aren’t deadly you can just leave”
-
So the bird flies away, leaving the other chased by things.
the living dream.
[thinks it’s a caged bird, sees itself in it, actually might have been a pet frog the whole time. The backyard, running from snapping turtles, surviving the pool might be its ceiling. Kinda a thinker]
[i worry for the people i leave]

now that i know peace there is nothing to describe
it is the quiet
it’s the stillness of the astronaut basking in the marvel of the earth
the __ squirrel cuddling its mountain of acorns as the others freeze
the early bird dropping a worm in its baby’s beak
the
you get what I’m saying.
It’s boring because it’s unappreciated
Peace goes unnoticed
in the struggle to find its balance
ants running sugar between scales do not notice
the beauty of all creation

Help! There’s an alligator in my pool
*based on a dream
[It may also represent your ability to move between the physical, material world of waking life and the emotional, repressed world of the subconscious. Alternatively, the alligator represents healing powers and qualities. An alligator also suggests that you are thick-skinned]
There’s an alligator in my pool and I don’t know what to do
The end.
kidding! Obviously I'm gonna move.
It’s swimming there but I don’t want help really,
I don’t care.
wading in the warmth, watching me skip stones

it bit me once
then twice
a forewarn chase to a nocturnal’s delight
It’s swimming there but I don’t want to help really.
Neither can bring ourselves to leave
Then my conscious was upheaved

I bounce away on the stones but the warm water keeps pulling me back

{water}{sound on page?}
There’s an alligator there.
Someone should do something about that.

This flow starts with a reflective, slightly lonely vibe and slowly builds up to a euphoric peak before coming down into that chill, blissful conclusion.
